PVC Profiles

Frame and sash are constructed using the latest uPVC Vinyl (unplasticized PVC) made from 100% rigid PVC. This technology is not subject to damage caused by sun, salt laden air, ultra-violet and infa-red rays, airborne chemicals, pollutants or temperature extremes of the most tropical locations.

The profiles are multi-chambered, which provide excellent performance in energy savings with superior thermal insulation. The multi-chambered design also produces increased strength and rigidity. In addition the multi-chambered design reduces the amount of sound that may penetrate the interior from outdoors.

Benefits

Fusion Welded Corners
Fusion-welded corners on both the frame and the sash, provide an attractive (gap free) appearance, and eliminate the need for adhesives and sealants. Fusion-welded corners will not allow air or water infiltration found with mechanically assembled window systems. The Interior walls are welded as well during this process, further increasing the overall structural strength of the window. The welded corners assist in retaining the square ness of the window thus making installation easier.

Double weather-stripping
The BENOR French door has a triple weather seal around the perimeter of the window, this optimal seal against the elements produced 0.00 air and water penetration during severe test conditions.

High performance hardware
The French door comes fitted with a high quality multi-point locking system. The hardware is corrosion resistant, and can be upgraded to a stainless steel for coastal applications. The multi-point locking mechanism is driven by lever handles, which throws all of the locking points into steel keeps around the door.

Glazing
The window is glazed with Glasslam Safety Plus IMPACT laminated glass. The glass has a unique pet film attachment system that retains the glass within the frame. The glass unit is ½" overall thickness and comes in a range of colors and tints.
